The Arab style motifs that decorate this picture can be found in the Alhambra in Granada, the great Mosque of Cordoba, and also in the Giralda in Seville. This geometrical design, known as “Paños de Sebka", is part of our history and heritage, which made it imperative for us to create a picture with this design.
This picture has been made with 3 mm thick cow skin tanned using products of vegetable origin. This thickness is necessary for the style of embossing that we use, which is the traditional style of Granada. This embossing technique consists in obtaining volume and relief in the leather. Through the use of several different tools, cutters, hammer, a lot of patience, hours of work and dedication, we manage to produce authentic works of art. The process is completely handcrafted from start to finish, and the time taken to make a piece of art like this one is measured not in hours, but in days. It is not only tooled, but also hand painted afterwards. This guarantees that each and every picture that we produce will always be unique and exclusive, with its own hallmark.
All the elements that are used in this picture are of a natural origin and are not harmful to the environment.
It is worth noting the details in gold that this picture has, which is traditional to the area of Andalusia.
If you want to add a touch of distinction to your home, and include a small part of the walls of the Alhambra in leather, this picture is ideal.
